Today we’re in the Western county of Kakamega and we are visiting farmers Eric and Grace.
Eric and Grace have taken over Eric’s parent’s farm, supported by his Mum who helps them. They have 8 acres of mixed crops but suspect the acidic soils are why their crops are not doing well. They have some successful hives and free range Kienyeji chickens but want to make poultry a business and ensure their cow and calf keeps producing well in the future.
