Welcome to Shamba Shape Up.
This week we’re in Mahoo in Taita Taveta and we are visiting farmer Joseph.
He lives close to Taveta town. He has 8 beef cattle , about 30 goats and some chicken.
He grows bananas and other crops on a separate piece of land. Grows maize and dry land crops near his homestead.
He transports hay from far, but isn’t keeping it well. He has suffered foot and mouth disease and lump skin on his animals.
