So, farmers, you have followed all the advice we have given you in this season, you tested your soils and added the recommended fertilisers and compost, you have used certified seeds to ensure you get a good harvest, you have used conservation agriculture practices such as using drip irrigation, mulching and weeding to conserve water and nutrients in your soils and now you have a good harvest from your shamba!
But do you know you can still lose this harvest because of something called post-harvest loss.
