Welcome to our 15th season of Shamba Shape Up!
We have learnt a lot in our many travels, meeting farmers listening to them and seeing their challenges and getting experts to help.
But do you know how to prepare well for these season?

Sit down and start planning your farm. If you had not done before. Decide what you want to do.Come up with a farm plan! You can start by dividing you farm into sections, sections for crops and sections for livestock. Write down all what you need and estimate their cost. Then prepare a budget. Coming up with a farm plan and a budget should be would help you know what your are doing. Seeing it in paper and not just in your mind . You will see what is possible and what is not possible.
You will see the dangers and possible solutions in advance.

- Importance of taking Insurance for your farm and livestock.
- How Kitchen gardens are great way to grow easily accessible nutritious food.
