Welcome to the 15th season of Shamba Shape Up!
As you may know farmers, work on the farm never stops, once you’ve planted, your weeding, managing your crops to keep pests and diseases away, OR you’re making getting ready for harvest and the next planting season.
As a farmer, it’s important to keep scouting your crops for any signs of pests or diseases so that you can tackle these right away. By checking your field, you can also take note of what is doing well or needs to be changed in the next season.
Keep check of your drip lines and water catchment systems to ensure you have enough water for your crops throughout the season.

- Importance of drip Irrigation.
- How to make organic compost.
- Importance of practicing conservation agriculture in your farm.
