This week we are in Vota in Machakos county and we are visiting farmer Elizabeth Nyamai.
She started farming a few years ago. Has 6 acres of land under irrigation She once planted pumpkins with a promise of ready market, then the buyer failed her. All her produce got spoilt. Her eldest son started making driers to help solve this issue and is now doing it as a business.
