Welcome to Shamba Shape Up Uganda!

Today we’re in Butuba village, Parish Bulogo subcounty, Namwendwa Kamuli district and we are visiting farmers Ituba David and Naikoba Esther.

They’ve lived on this shamba in Butuba village for over 25 years. Working hard together they grow a variety of crops- but their main income comes from their Coffee and bananas and that’s the good news - but the bad news is that they’re suffering all sorts of problems and are desperately in need of some expert advice.

So we pitched up - and got down to business….!

We are learning about:

2. Feed production (Silage) for Dairy Cows

3. How to Prevent and treat Pest & Disease in a Coffee plantation.

4. Banana Plantation management.
