Welcome to Shamba Shape Up Uganda! We are meeting a farmer who planted trees with one of the hardest seeds to break open. Breaking them is tough but is inside them is very valuable. Today we’re in Kangabwa Village in Kyotera District and we are meeting Kasiita Fred a 38-year-old farmer, we want to see what he has on his 12-acre farm. Fred’s wife Sandra Tusinbusire and their three children live in the city leaving him to stay on the farm alone, but that hasn’t slowed him down. On the farm he grows coffee, tomatoes, maize, beans, horticulture and has an apiary But that’s not all he also has a new project of 150 macadamia trees on his farm. Macadamia in Uganda?
