Today we are meeting a farmer whose challenges we relate too, but to him they are so severe, the challenge of climate change.
I know we have found solutions to many challenges, but do you think we can take on climate change?
Today, we're here in Kamatarisi Village, Mbarara North Division, to meet Dickson Wamanya, a 49-year-old farmer. He recently relocated to support his mother and take care of their 15-acre family farm.
We are learning about:
1. Soil testing focusing on Bananas.
2. The proper way of planting the right pastures on our shamba and varieties to plant.
3. How to improve the breeds of cattle.
4. Maintaining water reservoirs.
