Series 2 - Ep 15: Gender, Broiler, Weather and Financial literacy

Welcome to Munda Make Over!

This week we are in the mining town of Kitwe, but there is a farmer who is defying odds and ignored mining and decided to run a successful farming business.

Also please do not forget the girl power part. This lady we are visiting today has an amazing story.

Our farmer for this week is a hands-on former Electrical engineer who chose farming over job security.

She used to ensure that Zambia had enough electricity, and now she wants to ensure Zambia has enough food.

Prisca Chiwi owns 6 hectares of land, and you can see that there is progress as she prepares for the maize planting season. To expand her farming endeavors, Prisca also started the broiler business.

Seeing the efforts, she has been putting to take her farm to the next level, we saw it right as Munda made over to visit her.

Let us get down to business and see how we can help Prisca to improve her farming activities.

1. Women Accessing Funding for Farming.

2. Growing broilers successful using the broiler assist program

3. How we can unlock financial access to expand farming projects.
