This week’s farmer is passionate about farming and decided to make the bold move to the farm, leaving the comforts of the city for the simple life on the farm and he is enjoying it. For him Chongwe is now home!

A retired accountant, Wilson now lives on the farm. His family comes to visit over the weekends. He is growing maize, groundnuts, cassava and soya beans. He keeps pigs, chicken and rabbits. He expected about 200 bags of maize but is going to harvest about 2 bags due to the drought.
