This week we are in Chongwe visiting a young Farmer Arthur Abwino. A young farmer very serious with his farming. He has 15 ha under farming out of 25. He moved to the farm in 2019. He grows maize, groundnuts, soya beans, and sunflower. He has some chicken and goats. He has a bore hole and solar pump. He grows winter maize but currently has okra under irrigation. His maize failed.

Arthur Abwino is a serious farmer who after having tried farming in various places finally settled on this farm five years ago. Like many farmers he has faced challenges buthas resolved to carry on, calling Chongwe home.
