Series 2 - Ep 3: Organic Fertiliser, Manure and Making Compost

Welcome to Munda Make Over!

Hello farmers, we’re back! But before we start visiting new farms, we want to go back to the old farmers that we visited, see what happened in their farms and talk more about climate change.

Still on organic fertilizer, let’s talk more on manure.

As we visited more and more farms across Zambia, we found out that most farmers keep livestock as well as growing crops. This is good because our crops can benefit from our livestock.

The dung or droppings from the livestock can be turned to manure and this is great for your soil. Adding manure to your soils increases its fertility and makes the soils to keep moisture for longer. This helps us to fight against climate change.

Also, we learn about how we can make a good Compost

And: For more information on where to get the worms contact Ecobiz Farms. Email on ecobiz.farms@gmail.com or WhatsApp at +260977771172. Website is www.ecobizzambia.com

The expert also said that if you can’t buy the 100-litre tank, then you can use 3 big polythene bags.
