This week we’re in Katete, in Eastern Province and we’re visiting Adamson Zulu. Adamson is part of the Farm to Market Alliance, and very proud to be running the local farm service centre.

Adamson is impacted by climate change, our main theme for this farm, so we show how to get digital warnings, then recommend climate smart seeds, discover how new pests are controlled by IPM and finally all this is mitigated by planting trees.

We are learning about:

  1. How to help boost farmers income using technology.
  2. How climate smart seeds can help us with climate change and the unpredictable weather.
  3. How to manage pests and disease in our plants and reduce risk to human health and the environment.
  4. How agriculture and trees can work together to build a better farm.
