Welcome to Munda MakeOver!

This week we’re in Katete District in Eastern province and we’re visiting farmers Alik Nvula, Samwel Banda and Charles Phiri, as well as the whole village of Mzima Zemba!

This week we have something a bit different for you, we’re not visiting one farmer, no, we’re visiting a group of farmers!

All the farmers live in the main village with their farms scattered outside. As such there seems to be a strong community with farmers sharing knowledge and equipment.

Each farmer has fields for cash crops ranging from 4 to 6 hectares, but they also have some wonderful kitchen gardens.

Our main topic this week is therefore going to be something they all share, the soil.
